Hi! I'm Marta, I graduated as a DVM from the University of Zaragoza in July 2019 and as an MPVM at UC Davis in September 2020. Currently, I am a PhD candidate in Epidemiology at UC Davis, focusing on my main interests: studying antimicrobial resistance, One Health, pharmacokinetics, and spatiotemporal data analysis. 🧫During my academic journey, I had the opportunity to intern at UC Davis in 2018, conducting a research study on antimicrobial resistance in Salmonella from 1995 to 2015 in the United States. This experience solidified my passion for research and led me to further my education with a master's in Preventive Veterinary Medicine. I'm proud to be a graduate student at the Center for Animal Disease Modelling and Surveillance (CADMS) and at the Food Animal Residue Avoidance Databank (FARAD).
