About Marta Fonseca

I’m a Digital Product Designer with a background in UX, visual design, and communication. Passionate about creating meaningful, accessible experiences for real people. 🧩 I approach design with curiosity, empathy, and systems thinking. My experience spans SaaS products, design systems, and community-driven initiatives, with projects across Portugal, Finland, and remote teams. I care about how things work and how they feel and I love bringing clarity to complex problems. Outside of work, I’m a language and storytelling enthusiast. I’ve kept a 750+ day Duolingo streak (Finnish and Italian) and previously wrote fiction while running a book blog. For the past half decade, I’ve dedicated myself to volunteering across ESN and TEDx, where I led communication and design team, facilitated workshops for volunteers, and hosted dozens of events collectively for +2.500 participants. Currently designing at CSG, where I contribute to enterprise tools used by telecom companies worldwide. On Thursdays, you can find me volunteering as a community builder across Porto during Coworking Thursdays with the local community. Always open to meaningful projects, collaborations or a good chat over tea.
