About Marta Galic

My journey has been defined by a love for basketball and a drive for excellence, both on and off the court. During more than 15 years of my commitment to basketball, I’ve had the privilege of representing Croatia as a member of the Under-20 and Senior national women’s basketball teams, an experience that taught me discipline, resilience, and the power of teamwork. These lessons have shaped not only my athletic career, but also my academic and professional pursuits. After earning a scholarship to play NCAA Division 1 basketball, I attended the University of San Francisco (USF), where I balanced the demands of being a student-athlete while graduating Summa Cum Laude in just three years with a degree in Finance. My ability to thrive under pressure carried over into my MBA studies at Tulane University in New Orleans. There, I captained the Tulane Green Wave women’s basketball team, leading with strategy and heart while earning my MBA with concentrations in Finance and Management. Now living in Zagreb to play professional basketball, I’ve found ways to merge my passions for sport, business, and community. I enjoy solving complex operational challenges, working collaboratively with clients, and building connections that create lasting impact. Years of balancing the demanding schedules of an elite athlete have made me highly organized and operationally efficient – a skill set I apply to everything I do. Whether leading a team on the court or tackling business challenges off it, I’m driven by a commitment to excellence, collaboration, and making a difference.
