About Marta Rot

I don’t choose between “hard” and “soft,” strategic or operational HR. I work across the full spectrum – from end to end – and it’s at the intersection of these areas where I thrive. Professionally, I bring together: – labor law and competence development; – corporate and start-up experience; – team building during rapid growth and supporting people through group layoffs; – both employee and employer perspectives. For me, HR is not just about processes – it’s about people, context, and the decisions that truly matter to the organization. HR Manager with 20+ years of experience: • I bring together legal precision with a people-first mindset. • I navigate confidently between structured corporate environments and the agility of start-ups. • I implement modern HR tools – and I see what happens when they’re missing or misused. • I work closely with leadership teams and cross-functional groups – always as a partner, not just a support function. Trainer and university lecturer: • I design and deliver workshops for diverse audiences: engineers, scientists, lawyers, salespeople, managers and project teams. • I teach in the HR Business Partner postgraduate program at Wroclaw University of Economics. • My sessions combine real-world experience, current HR trends, and meaningful dialogue – no empty buzzwords. My training topics include: • team building and leadership, • effective communication and conflict resolution, • negotiations and mediation, • outplacement and change support, • public speaking, • goal-oriented management (MBO), • talent development and employee attitude research. I strongly believe that trust, authentic leadership, and partnership at work are the foundations of a healthy organization. That’s not a slogan – it’s what I strive to build every day.
