Marta provides strategic leadership for the government contractor business and financial functions. Marta overseas Budget and Financial Planning, Business Systems Implementations, External Audit, FAR Compliance, and Financial Training and Education. With those units lie critical business functions including, but not limited to financial reporting, budgeting, bid and proposal, payroll, account receivable and payable, project accounting, and financial system management. Marta has over 15 years of experience spanning finance, project accounting, system implementation, tax and audit preparation, FAR regulation, CAS accounting, 8(a) regulation, and RFP cost volume responses. Whit this knowledge, she brings mature business judgment, expert assistance with recognizing, assessing, and solving financial and business operation challenges. She is widely respected as a leader with the ability and experience to a start-up business, turn around a struggling company, and manage a well-run establishment- Responsibility for all accounting, finance, budget, and contract management activities - Creating, developing, and defending a series of fully compliant Cost Volumes and pricing strategies for proposals - Choosing, designing, and implementing a new accounting system to enhance company financial and project reporting capabilities - Administrating Fixed Price, Time and Materials (T&M), and Cost-Reimbursable contracts and subcontracts - Guiding management on critical financial and business issues - Contributing significantly to each company’s success in developing and maintaining the administrative infrastructure - Expert on Government Contract Compliance Support – Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs)
