About Marta Vohlidalova

I am a researcher in the Gender & Sociology dept, Institute of Sociology, Czech Academy of Sciences and an assistant professor at AMBIS University in Prague. In my research, I focus on gender aspects of research careers and academic mobility, sexual harassment (in the educational environment), sociology of family and private life, gender inequalities in the labour market, the gender pay gap and women in decision-making. I have conducted, designed and led qualitative and quantitative research projects (e.g. in-depths, focus groups, questionnaire surveys, analysis of documents and policy, secondary analysis of quantitative data, etc.). I am a member of the editorial board of Czech Sociological Review and the Committee for Reconciliation of Work, Private and Family Life of the Government Council for Equal Opportunities of Women and Men. I was awarded several research grants and collaborated on numerous EU-funded projects within 6FP, 7FP and HORIZON programmes. As a national expert in the field of gender equality, I have been cooperating with ICF INTERNATIONAL and Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini within projects funded by the European Commission and EIGE.
