Background

About Martha Cliff

I am an Applied Criminology and Criminal Justice Master’s graduate with a strong commitment to safeguarding and risk management. Currently working as a Young Person’s Domestic Violence Advisor (YPVA) at Victim Support, I specialise in assessing complex risks, identifying mitigating and aggravating factors, and collaborating with multi-agency partners to protect vulnerable individuals. With five years of experience in roles requiring structured risk management, I thrive in team environments and enjoy naturally stepping into leadership roles, mentoring colleagues, and supporting service continuity. My professional approach combines analytical thinking with excellent interpersonal skills, enabling me to build strong networks and deliver effective outcomes. I am passionate about preventing young people’s involvement in the criminal justice system and am eager to further develop my career within protective security, threat assessment, and crime prevention.
