About Martha Gray

My family is my greatest passion. From Sunday dinners at home to summer vacations In Wisconsin, there is no one I would rather be with than my husband, children and grandchildren. They have taught me the importance of having a place to gather together and call home. When my youngest child started school. I was inspired to make a career of “home." Residential sales gave me the opportunity to have the best of both worlds: a career that aligns with my passion and a second career as a full-time mom. I was born in Burlington, Vermont and then moved to Highland Park when I was a child. Coming from a mixed -faith family, I was happy to be a part of a community that truly celebrates everyone’s unique differences. Today, I continue to enjoy meeting new people and learning about this place I call home. I began my career in small group insurance and mutual funds sales, which aligned with my knowledge of marketing and finance; this experience proved especially helpful when I transitioned into real estate. My aptitude for business, negotiating savvy, and natural empathy for the needs of others has made me a top-performing realtor for more than 30 years. As an Engel & Völkers advisor, I share the company values of diversity, community, and transparency—creating an outstanding and authentic client experience. I sincerely care about each of my clients and am grateful for the opportunity to help people find their next home. When I am not with clients, I spend time with my family, play golf and Canasta, travel, and volunteer with Imerman Angels, mentoring people who are being treated for cancer. I especially enjoy learning about diverse cultures, which is a key benefit of my involvement with the Rotary Club of Highland Park/Highwood. I ran their international programs for many years, and through that experience, I made close friends in Northern Ireland, Italy and Japan.
