About Martha Lecompte

I am a very motivated International Supply Chain Management student who is always looking for opportunities to learn about different topics. She has been able to develop her intercultural communication skills during her business bachelor at Artevelde University of Applied Sciences. I have a bachelor in International Business Management, which I obtained Magna Cum Laude. I also learned a lot about teamwork, leadership and effective communication. During my Bachelor I did a semester abroad at the University of North Georgia in the United States, specializing in logistics. I finished my bachelor with an internship in the Supply Chain department of LyondellBasell in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I speak four languages; I am native in French and Dutch and study in English. I was able to develop my Spanish in my International Business Management studies and during a summer school program in 2021. I have always been engaged in student participation; in high school I was a representative in the EPAS European project. At Artevelde I was the president of the International Management Student council where I learned all about the responsibility and the representing of other students. I also have a lot of practice with verbal and written communication skills being the communication manager for the Artevelde student council. During my spare time I love travelling, meeting people, and learning about cultures. I also enjoy working out and running, preparing for races keeps me motivated in life. Her goal in life would be to work in different countries to keep on learning.
