I thought I would be a writer when I grew up but life took me to the insurance world instead. Having worked in an assistant role for ten years, I've been able to experience most of the ins-and-outs of insurance. My role as assistant account manager has given me the opportunity to work with personal and commercial agents alike as well as interacting with customers on daily basis. What I have come to enjoy most about my job is lending a hand to help my coworkers and customers. I get to be a part of the behind-the-scenes processing as well as the face-to-face problem solving, so I have exposure to all parts of the insurance process.
