I am passionate about recruiting and guiding exceptional talent (both junior and senior), and have a deep understanding of sourcing, processing, trading, and risk management of raw materials and (semi) finished products, strategy, P&L drivers, asset management, and trading technology in the cocoa & chocolate industry, which I also apply to the broader commodity industry. As a LinkedIn Top Voice I share my insights and perspectives on the commodity industry, money, investing, trading, financial markets, and the economy, using my expertise as a former head of cocoa trading at Cargill, and passion for those topics. As a co-host of the commodity podcast Strong Source (on Spotify and Apple), which I started in 2023 with commodities insights platform Vesper, I educate and entertain those interested in the commodity industry with great content made with movers and shakers in the industry. For Vesper I also write a cocoa market report every two weeks. My goal is to educate and inform people about the complex and fascinating world of commodities and the behavior of market participants.
