I am an energetic and positive person with a background in both mechanical and business engineering. I have a broadly ranging interest in technical subjects, processes and people. Over 10 years of experience in Product Development and leading engineering teams. Key Skills and Competencies I am a 'lead by example' type leader, and try to get everybody involved with enthusiasm, positivity and motivational coaching. I always try to get the team spirit going. I am able to differentiate easily between abstraction levels in projects and organisations. Tackling problems with a practical approach, yet not losing the bird’s eye perspective. My flexibility and strong analytical skills make for my fast idea generation into a practical design or solution. A good communicator, able to adapt style and content of communication to the applicable audience. Furthermore I am a compassionate listener, able to relate to people. I have a quick understanding and am able to adapt to another person’s frame of reference. To me it is very satisfying to teach people new skills. Very confident in (prototype) design and calculation of heavy and light machinery and steel constructions.
