Previously professor and Dean of Business, Law and Digital Technologies at the University of Winchester, Chartered Management Accountant with extensive educational experience and research interests in Governance and Performance Management in the Public Sector, particularly in Higher Education. Current holder of an honorary Professorship from Amity University, India. Visiting Professor at GRD College, Coimbatore, India. Former member of the Chartered Association of Business School International Committee, Council and Vice Chair of Council for Chartered ABS. Previously appointments include 20 years at the University of Southampton (QS Top 100, Russell Group) and five years as Head of Southampton Business School delivering AMBA and AACSB accreditation, rises in Guardian League Table to 10th for Business Management & Marketing, Associate Dean (Education and Student Experience) in the Faculty of Business, Law and Art, Deputy Head of Southampton Business School and Director of Programmes for the MSc/ MBA suite of postgraduate study within Southampton Business School.
