Martin Chisholm – 0790 601 7220 – martin.chisholm@lastlinkltd.com I provide Interim Management & Consulting services covering Operational Management, Project Management and Supply Chain; usually as Interim Operations Director / Head of Operations / Chief Operations Officer/ Operations Consultant. I have done these roles the length and breadth of the UK working with all sorts of diverse businesses from FTSE 100 to owner managed SME companies. In that period these companies have saved over £50 million collectively and dramatically improved their OTIF and Quality performance. I am well versed in all the ‘lean / agile / TQM’ tools and have deployed them successfully over the last 25 years! But in reality these are just tools, my roles are always about People and Process, and in that order! I am a firm believer that in order to get sustainable improvements the whole team needs to be involved, to do that I work With Them not On Them. I have had some excellent successes such as a recent collaborative project I managed which was given a score of 5 out of 5 by Innovate UK (A UK Government department) for Project Management. This was an 18-month, £1.3 million project to develop an innovative Additive Manufacturing proof of concept machine. Another success was a small SME (T/O was £1+ Million) family owned for 3 generations, now operating internationally and with over 5 fold increase in T/O.
