Scientist turned software engineer. I have expertise in leading or contributing to development projects using various technologies and tools, such as Python, Jenkins, Kubernetes and ELK. I have also experience in numerical modelling and data engineering using Matlab and Python. My skills and abilities: • Learning quickly and effectively! I have a good comprehension, I can do research, I have a good information and time management skills and I am proficient in problem analysis and solution synthesis. I am technically literate and I can also do technical writing and editing. • My doctoral studies taught me responsibility, organization, project management, resource management and risk mitigation. I can manage my stress, I can follow directions, I can work autonomously and independently. At the same time, I have experience with virtual and global communication and collaboration. I am flexible and versatile, I can motivate myself, and I can take initiative and be decisive. My huge plus is the ability to complete tasks on time and at the required level. • Personally, I have emotional intelligence and I enjoy building relationships, especially with the ones not included in the core groups. I am kind and quick to smile, I see potential in others, and I love helping them develop. I am generous with praise and always on the lookout for the positive. • I have leadership skills gained from my volunteering in church groups, where I also learned good interpersonal communication and conflict resolution. • While participating in scientific conferences as well as PR projects, I learned to speak publicly, I can give interesting and catching presentations and I am able to explain difficult topics to wide variety of target audiences, from children to experts in the field. • Regarding computer literacy, I can work in Windows as well as Linux, I prefer Python for programming (but I understand and passively use great variety of languages like C, Java, Javascript and Go), and I can quickly learn anything new and interesting.
