As my record shows I am happy to take on new work streams, which I have done successfully throughout my career. I have spent the last 2 years working for Fidelis MGU, an active and rapidly growing Underwriting operation, during this time I have worked heavily on Delegated Authority bordereaux data cleansing, and specifically the reporting of DA IPT to comply with the tight regulatory tax deadlines. Prior to this, for 11 years I was an active member of a small data integrations team at Compre Group within the Operations facet. I am also an experienced IBA technician who developed into the claims role at JLT whilst working on reinsurance business. CAREER HISTORY Fidelis MGU (Active Underwriting) Nov 2021 – Dec 2023: Operations / Premium Management Analyst • Initially working on $100m of aged debt, which by; reconciliation, data/process correction, liaison with Credit Control, Underwriting, etc then contacting and chasing Brokers, MGA’s and other 3rd parties resulted in the debt being reduced to $20m within 8 months. • Reporting IPT for Delegated Authority business monthly to the regulatory reporting team for onwards payment to many international tax authorities. • Bespoke analysis of Cover Holder bordereaux IPT & reconciliation to match payments, raising queries with Cover holders and brokers to resolve IPT queries in a timely manner, liaison with internal Underwriting as appropriate. • Various ad-hoc projects to correct & enhance the DA data created from the bordereaux where the interface to the core systems was flawed. Compre Group Aug 2010 – Aug 2021: Integration Analyst • In depth data-cleansing of new and back-book portfolios of acquired run-off business. • Manage the logistics of physical documentation in support of electronic records so that they can be used to enhance the data to improve; Actuarial modelling, Claims Adjusting, Commutations and release of profits relating to redundant reserves among other benefits. • Undertake and manage ad-hoc tasks & project work as required being able to deliver high quality results with little supervision at times.
