I have over 15 years of experience as in house counsel, including in the roles of General Counsel, Vice President of Legal and Contracts, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Compliance Officer. I have acted as a legal and business advisor to, and been a member of, Executive Leadership Teams in both a private company and public company context. Whether I am deep into the drafting and negotiation of a transaction to support the closing of a deal, or providing guidance, counsel and advice to the executive team at a strategic level, my mission, and that of my team, is to always provide sound legal advice that can be operationalized by my business stakeholders to achieve their goals. As a leader of Legal, Contracts & Compliance teams, I am passionate about helping people be the greatest legal, contracts and compliance professionals that they can be. I believe that people will always succeed if given the right mix of mentoring, delegation, empowerment, and trust, and as a leader it is my responsibility to ensure that mix is delivered to all the members of my team. My teams have consistently delivered outstanding results, and I am very proud that many of my team members over the years have been promoted, have advanced their careers in new and exciting ways, and have become fantastic advisors to their business stakeholders.
