About Martin Malec

Formal education: – Bachelor's Degree in Media Studies and Psychology – Master's Degree in Psychology from Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic. I work as an IT Systems Architect and Sysadmin, specializing in Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Entra ID, Linux servers (Debian/Ubuntu), NextCloud, and DokuWiki knowledge bases. My expertise also covers WordPress, Google Workspace, and deployment of baseline cybersecurity measures such as phishing-resistant MFA, full disk encryption, TPM, and ransomware-resistant backups. Additionally, I automate corporate processes using PowerShell Core, Linux Bash shell, and Python, and perform data mining and analysis automation using MS Excel, Power BI - Power Query, and Python. I am an avid user and proponent of cutting-edge AI LLM technologies like ChatGPT, Bing Copilot, and Groq LLaMA as programming assistants, and actively educate employees on leveraging AI tools. In 2015, I co-founded the Czech Psychedelic Society (CZEPS)(czeps.org), the Psycare harm-reduction project (psycare.cz), and a university course on psychedelics at the Third Medical Faculty of Charles University. I serve as a statutory board member and IT sysadmin for CZEPS, managing Google Workspace, Slack, and Linux servers for web hosting. Our focus is on destigmatizing psychedelics, providing harm reduction services at music events, organizing public lectures, and advocating for drug policy reform. Since 2009, I have been a member of the International Dzogchen Community. I am passionate about foraging for wild mushrooms and, in 2023, I earned an official Czech mycological certificate, which permits me to sell mushrooms commercially.
