About Martin Malek
I am one of the founders of ComAp, a global technology company established in 1991. I previously held positions as varied as Director of Operations, Systems Division Director, Finance Director, and my current role is HR Director. In the last four years I have focused on leading a significant change in ComAp – from being managed by its owners to being managed by professionals. This transformation has involved building an engaged Board of Directors, strengthening the management and executive teams, building succession plans, talent management, and finally a search of the new CEO. In 2015 I became Chairman of the ComAp Board. I have a Master’s Degree in Technical Cybernetics from Czech Technical University in Prague. I am currently undertaking a Master’s Degree in Executive Coaching at the Ashridge Business School and as a coach I support my clients in learning how to co-create their professional and private life stories.
