Martin offers over 28 years of experience as a senior scientist, project manager, & supervisor. He has been instrumental in the timely completion of numerous environmental studies, project designs, & business development efforts. Types of projects on which his skills have been applied include transportation corridors, water supply reservoirs, airports, waterfront structures, dredged channels, DoD facilities, & building complexes such as the Smithsonian. Tasks representative of his abilities include permitting, compliance inspections, natural resource investigations, NEPA documentation, hazardous waste studies, geologic investigations, water quality investigations, environmental site assessments, mitigation, corrective action plans, stormwater management, dredging & dredge material disposal, & design assistance for major public works projects. Martin has in-depth experience with local, state, & federal environmental regulatory programs and is able to apply this knowledge to a wide range of public and private sector projects. With his knowledge of environmental statutes, regulations, & policies, employers have looked to Martin to serve the important role of permit specialist. Martin has also served as Health and Safety Officer for two major A/E firms. Over his career, Martin has strived to take on greater responsibilities in project management. By demonstrating his ability to efficiently supervise multi-disciplinary teams, manage project budgets & schedules, and assure client satisfaction, Martin has gained the confidence of employers and has been granted desired opportunities in project management.
