About Martin Murphy

I have more than 30 years of experience working with multinational companies and participating in high profile International projects, such as the Petronas Towers in Malaysia and the Panama Canal extension. I have extensive experience in Claims and have been appointed as Expert in delay analysis on various occasions and have also testified. I also have undertaken various roles as Project Manager, Planner, Cost Controller, Quality Manager and in Information management aspects of various building and civil works projects worldwide with British and Spanish Construction Companies and since 1998 with Hill International. I have wide experience using and implementing specific planning, cost and integrated project management software such as Primavera P3, P6, Primavera Contract Manager, Pertmaster and PMWeb. I have been a University Lecturer since in Project Controls and am fluent in Spanish. Tengo mas de 30 años de experiencia con empresas multinacionales y participando en proyectos emblemáticos a nivel internacional, tales como las Torres Petronas o la ampliación del Canal de Panamá. Tengo asimismo amplia experiencia en reclamaciones y he sido contratado como perito en varios ocasiones en análisis de retrasos, también testificando. También he ejercido de Project Manager, planificador, responsable de costes, calidad y sistemas de información en varios proyectos internaciones, tanto para un contratista británico como un contratista español y desde 1998 en Hill International. Tengo amplia experiencia en el uso y la implementación de sistemas de gestión de proyectos tales como Primavera P3, P6, Primavera Contract Manager, Pertmaster y PMWeb. Soy profesor universitario desde en controles de proyecto y soy bilingüe en español.
