About Martin Pitsch

I am a Media Design Apprentice at WWM GmbH & Co KG, a trade fair construction company in Monschau known for its innovation and success. In the Media Service department, I am preparing templates, verifying and refining print data for our clients, and occasionally contributing to the design of graphics for exhibition stands and other products. While not formally part of my training, I also collaborate on creating media for LED video walls. My background as a non-commissioned officer in the German Armed Forces and NATO has equipped me with valuable skills that seamlessly translate into the dynamic field of media design. I thrive under pressure, adapt swiftly to new challenges, make informed decisions, and execute tasks with discipline and efficiency. In my military roles, I trained servicemen, educated unit members in military history, and embraced the international environment during my last tour of duty at NATO Joint Forces Command Brunssum. My journey into media design began during my military service when I collaborated with fellow servicemen to create a fundraiser. I designed motifs for challenge coins and an armpatch, generating proceeds that we donated to support the family of a fallen police officer and various charities. At the age of 29, I embarked on a photo book project focused on war cemeteries, igniting my passion for photography. This hobby evolved, particularly during the pandemic, into a keen interest in sports photography, with a specific focus on capturing the intensity of football matches, especially those played under the lights.
