About Martin Shivapur

Over the years, I have gained valuable experience in various positions where the need to help others, collaborate as part of the team, deliver excellent service and adhere to strict rules and procedures has been essential. I also have extensive experience working as part of a team to achieve a common goal. In my last position, I worked on a time sensitive project for a company client with four other people. I have displayed my natural ability to be empathetic towards others through the voluntary work that I have carried out. In the last ten years, I have conducted free voluntary lectures and workshops on workplace ergonomics, general fitness in geriatric groups, etc in my community. The time that I spent in these lectures/workshops made me more appreciator live and how important it is to demonstrate respect, compassion and understanding for others. The life experiences that I have gained have helped me to respect everyone I come in contact with and I appreciate how important diversity is for effective functioning of an organisation such as the NHS. Apart from work, I keep myself fit, healthy and active, which mean that my concentration levels are always high and I can also take a large workload while dealing with the pressure and stress that come with a position in the NHS. I am a type of person who likes to take ownership of complex challenges and problems instead of running away from them for others to deal with. I also take the ownership of my professional development to ensure that my skills and knowledge enable me to complete my duties to the standards expected in my work. I adapt and get flexible, meaning I would not hesitate to work for extra hours to support the organisation that I work for. I am also willing to perform other duties outside my job description to assist the organisation when required. I would like to present myself with the following. EXPERIENCES - Broad rotational experience as an orthopaedic physiotherapist in ICU, wards and the OPD (48 hours) weekly. Supervision of junior clinical physiotherapists.
