Background
About Martin Sparrius
I have spent the last 2 decades lecturing on Cyber Security and Physics in both the UK universities and British International Schools. During my time lecturing I became aware of the potential for serious data security breaches within the UK education system. I am now undertaking my PhD at the University of Portsmouth to investigate this potential for data security breaches within U.K. secondary education and to evaluate the existing regulatory approaches to data security within secondary education. Based on this investigation and evaluation, guidance on best practice will be formulated which I plan to use to help UK secondary education providers improve their data security.
