Martin is a highly motivated Managing Director/Lead Consultant of Synergise Consult with wide ranging and extensive experience in project, programme and construction management. Martin has built up an impressive portfolio of projects across a host of industry sectors. In Engineering he has serviced clients in the aerospace, automotive, chemical and process engineering sector. Whilst in the Built Environment these sectors include residential, commercial and leisure sectors. Martin has excelled in providing services to the Energy sector including National Grid Energy Transmission and in the Chemical Engineering sector. Martin has also had wide ranging experience in the Gas Sector. Values of all projects have ranged between £1M and £500M. Martin is responsible for any Project his company delivers and therefore reports on cost and progress directly to the Project Board. Martin is an expert at putting multidisciplinary teams together and leading them to deliver successful outcomes. Martin’s problem solving and innovative approach excels in situations where components and/or resources are untested. Martin has over thirty years’ experience in industry and has ensured he and his company have evolved to meet the growing challenges posed by the development marketplace including CDM2015 compliance, fire, planning and supply chain management. He has recently been heavily involved in one of the UK’s most significant Infrastructure Projects, the Hinkley Point C Connection Project. Under the Planning Act 2008 the sheer amount of data that needed acquisition, storage, collation and production of reports/notices from it, drove a separate IT programme critical to the main Project’s success. Martin drove this programme, heading up a team of over 20 land surveyors. Martin has also achieved Project Delivery success for clients such as Johnson Matthey plc, and Honda of the UK Manufacturing Ltd. plc, National Grid plc, and Forest Green Rovers Football Club. Martin’s roles included: Lead Project Manager/Senior Project Engineer/Construction Manager.
