About Martin Topping

I have been involved in finance and accountancy for over 30 years, serving at director/controller level for over 18 years. I combine my strong sense of business awareness and highly determined approach to tasks with my comprehensive experience in the financial sphere to deliver efficient, effective financial management. In my capacity as a segment financial controller at Sodexo Ltd, I present monthly regional and segment results to the segment finance director. I consolidate quarterly forecasts and the annual budget, whilst ensuring the maintenance of a robust, controlled balance sheet. Furthermore, I liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and I produce segment accounting packs, as well as statutory accounts for three subsidiaries. In the past, I have been commended for my ability to adapt in a changing industry. Furthermore, my solution-focused approach and my analytical faculties allow me to get to grips with complex financial data with relative ease.
