Proven track record of working with key humanitarian and human rights organizations focusing on resource mobilization, structural development, and management of key external relations. I have experience managing diverse teams and partnerships and ensuring effective programme/ organizational development and strengthening impactful advocacy. My experience has been strongly shaped by postings in Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, Russia, and Africa. I have always been a strong advocate for a principled humanitarian work, and I have several years of experience in challenging human rights contexts such as Myanmar, and Libya. Key strengths: • 17 years of practical and successful experience managing complex and multi-disciplinary programmes and partnerships, including strategic advocacy. • Proven experience of collaboration with different actors such as communities, staff, national and international humanitarian organisations, United Nations agencies, governments, research institutions and donors in order to make programmes more effective and work of various actors mutually reinforcing. • Substantial capacity of the support systems management, including financial management of significant budgets, preparing financial projections, general financial management, monitoring and reporting, safety management. • Proven experience of leading an organization to secure substantial and strategic external funding and grants, understanding the challenges of donor and contract management and the implications for programme management. • Ensuring effective cooperation between the field, regional office, headquarters and advocacy offices in Geneva and Brussels. • Proven experience of working under pressure in stressful situations and within a diverse team.
