35+ years of experience within the electric & water utility industry, which include Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Predictive and Reliability Centered Maintenance. I have the knowledge and skill to perform advanced rotating equipment condition assessments, diagnostics and recommend specific repair and or actions. I am proficient in all types of Predictive maintenance equipment and techniques, including, advanced two channel vibration analysis, balancing, ultrasound, laser alignments, Generator testing, Infrared Thermography, Motor Circuit Analysis, MeScope modal and ODS and oil analysis. I have performed fossil plant, Combustion Turbine, and combined cycle startup acceptance testing, equipment testing, inspections, diagnostics, Generator testing along with setting up and managing JEA's motor reconditioning & rewind contracts. • Duties include writing of motor refurbishment specs, testing motors during reconditioning/rewinds, witness/acceptance testing of all rotating equipment, Perform and QA /QC alignments, turbine balancing, fan balancing and overseeing the precision maintenance installations of all power plant machinery, • Provide QA/QC in numerous areas to protect plant assets and improve contractor workmanship. • Provide assistance on plant improvement projects. and root cause analysis. • Perform vibration data collection, analysis and diagnostics on all plant equipment. • Proficient at performing Generator Field and Stator testing using flux probes, impedance testing, Insulation testing and DLRO measurements. • Proficient with Ludeca’s rotalign pro and ultra Laser alignment equipment. • Certified Level II Thermography. • Certified Category Vibration Analyst through the vibration institute since 2002. • Proficient in motor circuit evaluation and testing using PdMA's MCE/Emax equipment
