About Marty Ray

Marty currently serves as Executive Vice President where he directs and manages the development and implementation of organizational strategic plans to achieve company goals. He provides leadership and oversight of day-to-day operations. He supports a diverse and talented team of architects, engineers, and technical specialists in the capture and performance of highly complex A-E design and construction projects for the US Army Corps of Engineers, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, the U.S. Air Force, and major utilities nationwide. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina at Aiken, and he began his career as a Project Manager for Halliburton NUS and Brown & Root Services in 1993. He started his career at ZAPATA in 2001 as a Senior Project Manager and was promoted to Vice President of Business Development in 2004. In 2007, he took on the additional responsibilities of VP Environmental Services over the Environmental Engineering and Remediation Response Division concurrently with his Business Development role. Marty currently serves as the Vice President of the Coastal Carolina Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). He previously served on the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Defense Business Association (NCDBA) and the Board of Directors for the Savannah Post of SAME. Marty was previously recognized by the Charlotte, NC Business Journal as a Forty under 40 Business Leader in Charlotte.
