Professionally I am passionate about helping dysphagia clinicians, carers and people with dysphagia to reduce risk and improve the management of dysphagia. I do this by administering the Manchester Post Basic Dysphagia Course that empowers clinicians to manage dysphagia caseloads independently and through my involvement in Viscgo which develops innovative devices to improve the management of dysphagia such as the Drink Thickness Test Sticks and Food Consistency Test Fork. Viscgo also provides free Dysphagia Awareness Training for people with dysphagia and those who care for them. Personally I am immensely proud of my inspirational wife who is a dysphagia expert.
