Experienced development manager with a demonstrable history of work in the third sector. I have covered most posts in fundraising - trusts, statutory, corporate, individuals, and head of service. I bring almost two decades of professional fundraising experience working in roles at all levels. I am a team player thriving on the various facets of the work involved in seeing an idea become an effective, funded project. I have secured six-figure project grants from many of the most respected funders, including Garfield Weston Foundation, City Bridge Trust, John Ellerman Foundation, Henry Smith Charity, BBC Children in Need, BIG Lottery, the Cooperative Foundation and The Mercers’ Company. I am committed to the third sector, the opportunities and support that it provides, and its delivery of positive impact for its beneficiaries. I believe passionately in its power to engage with problems that other sectors are either unwilling or unable to solve. I am by nature a sceptic, however, the energy, care and compassion of the charity sector keeps me hopeful that given the opportunity, we can continue to make the world a better place.
