About Martyn Knox

I have wide administrative experience, having worked with a number of organisations in a variety of environments. My work experience to date has allowed me to acquire many valuable specific key skills; in particular, I am an excellent verbal and written communicator, extremely motivated and organised, have good attention to detail and remain calm when under pressure. I am considered hard working, reliable, thoroughly committed, and extremely diligent in carrying out whatever tasks or responsibilities are assigned to me. Moreover, I have a keen awareness of the importance of maintaining absolute confidentiality of information, and the need to provide the highest level of customer service, as these have been key requisites in each of the positions I have held to date. Having been promoted to a line manager role a few years ago, I now feel I have a more rounded skill set. Everything I had previously learned is still applicable, but I have now gained experience in managing people and dealing with issues regarding their workloads and how to manage different characters. In addition, having had a fundamental role in the implementation of an entirely new marking process - and having put hundreds of additional hours of work into this - I now appreciate the level of responsibility and work that is needed to work effectively in an overseeing and managerial role. I also believe this has demonstrated my commitment and determination to make a project work, and to work through problems and find solutions and effective ways of working with new, and sometimes untried, systems.
