About Martyna Malolepszy

A graduate of San Diego State University's L. Robert Payne School of Hospitality, I am passionate, confident, and dedicated. I am especially passionate about the dynamic and ever-changing industry of hospitality. Continuing my education through SDSU's Master's in Hospitality, I will continue to hone my skills in both the operational and financial aspects of the industry, allowing me to deliver exceptional service and strategic financial insights. Throughout my career as a student at the Payne School of Hospitality at SDSU, I learned so much about the industry through hands-on experiences and various volunteering opportunities. Through these opportunities, I have developed a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence in everything that I do. I thrive in fast-paced environments and am driven by the opportunity to create memorable experiences for guests. As someone who was born and raised in Los Angeles, San Diego has quickly become home to me. San Diego is an incredibly important location for hospitality and tourism, especially for large groups. With sites such as the San Diego Convention Center, Gaslamp District, Coronado Bay/Island, Downtown San Diego, and the Pacific Ocean, we are the primary location for many corporate planners. These events are one-of-a-kind and have had a major impact on the way I view the city; from volunteering for RX3 Flag Football events to working for the San Diego Padres, I have experience organizing and planning events in our beautiful city. I graduated from SDSU in May 2025 with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management and a minor in Finance. As a leader in the hospitality industry, I aim to be a collaborative and influential member of my teams and contribute to the impact that hospitality professionals have on people, their experiences, and their memories. I am enthusiastic about building lasting connections within the industry and believe in the power of networking and collaboration. I am eager to connect with other professionals who share my passion for hospitality and even finance!
