Experienced corporate board director and profit center leader, with deep expertise in data analytics and risk management. More than 15 years of service on private boards, including as Investment Committee Chair, member of Underwriting and Risk committees, and as a financial expert and Audit Committee member. More than 20 years of experience leading profitable insurance business units and investment teams. Served as CEO of top 10 reinsurer PartnerRe’s $1.2 billion global Life and Health business and more recently as founding CEO of the life and annuity reinsurer Langhorne Re. In addition, served as Chief Investment Officer for PartnerRe’s $15 billion global investment portfolio, overseeing both asset allocation as well as in-house portfolio managers in asset classes ranging from government securities to alternative fixed income and private equity. Credentialed Casualty Actuary with over 35 years of experience in risk assessment, risk management, data modeling, data analytics, and data-driven management decision making. Have led teams responsible for modeling Property Catastrophe, Mortality, and other insurance risks. Have served in a range of risk and actuarial leadership positions including Chief Pricing Officer, Chief Reserving Officer, Chief Actuary, and Chief Risk Officer.
