My extensive retail finance experience has been well developed over the past 11 years in a career which has spanned a range of companies. I am currently the Account Manager at Autosure for the South Island. I accumulated NZ F&I experience as a Finance and Insurance Business Manager for a large Automotive Dealership in Christchurch carrying more than 120 vehicles at any given time. Previously I was Contact Center Marketer for Volkswagen Financial Services Gmbh, gaining vast experience in structuring and validating Finance Transactions as well as Payouts. As a Business Manager, my role required of me to prepare, analyse, verify and disseminate client’s finance applications, coupled with Debtors, Creditors, budgeting and forecasting responsibilities, as well as dealing with Warranty/Recon issues and keeping Compliance files up to date. In my current and previous positions I have been involved in preparing the documentation for legislative and statutory returns. I maintain the general performance for the Finance and Insurance department, and am relied upon to convey essential financial data to all levels of management and external stakeholders, including advice on auditing processes as well as insurance coverage. A key skill I have acquired during my previous roles is the ability to successfully implement and manage new operating systems and procedures as well as maximizing profits in a stagnant and declining marketplace. I enjoy the challenge of integrating a new system and working with the wider sales and accounting team to ensure a smooth and productive workflow. I have a proactive management style with highly developed communication skills and have frequently been required to manage a team under pressure and enable them to meet strict deadlines. I am diligent in maintaining and updating my Qualifications of which includes current validity of NZ Transitional Level 5 Financial Adviser license. I am proficient with the essential computing programs such as Microsoft Excel, Motor Central and various vendor systems.
