Educational professional focused on helping everyone to achieve their academic goals in a fair and equitable manner by increasing student engagement and exciting their passion. My passion is to promote student academic success through the use of learning theory, and finding innovative ways to increase student engagement. My nature is to be supportive, curious, and resourceful. An established record of effectively training over 200 industry professionals to become master teachers. Experienced educator in face-to-face, hybrid, and online teaching. Designed and taught 17 courses for training teachers. Designed curriculum for Aerospace Joint Apprenticeship Committee, and Washington Building Officials. Developed partnerships with 2 Seattle-based international corporations for employee training. Presented 14 professional workshops at CCBA,League of Innovations, and BAS conferences. Trained 11 student teachers while a science educator for grades 6 – 12, specializing in chemistry, environmental, earth and space, integrated sciences, and physical science. Awarded a summer internship at Goddard Space Center and subsequently invited by NASA to space shuttle launch for John Glenn return to space.
