I have over 17 years of experience of being the go-to person for company owners and executives. As an executive assistant / office manager, I usually earn management-level projects within weeks of starting a new job - my titles reflect the fact that I have, until now, preferred part-time work for family reasons. I have worked in a variety of fields and industries while still maintaining a stable work history and excellent relationships with all my former employers. In my current job, I am the first impression of my employer to all ages and stages of people in the community and confidentiality is a legal requirement. Strengths include adapting to a variety of environments, working well with teams or independently and working to deadlines. Handling the dispersal of a $1 million construction loan and bringing the records to balance within pennies won me accolades from the issuing bank manager. I have successfully handled travel, scheduling, event planning, recruiting / screening / hiring, writing / editing / proofreading of marketing materials for major corporate clients, and navigating the complex world of health insurance benefits. I prefer to approach life and work with an upbeat attitude and a sense of humor, when appropriate.
