About Mary Beth Smith Aama

My passion is quality and preventative healthcare for all patients. I have a niche for assisting organizations from large to small on the proven transitional methods to aid in substantial growth of quality improvement. Starting with the clinic side, to billing, admin and beyond it is possible to accomplish meeting quotas, improve quality measures, decrease cost and teach(and involve) everyone on the healthcare team in about preventative medicine. My work to date has consisted of both clinical and administrative. I spent my first 8 years in a multi location practice that consisted of urgent/walk-in care, family/internal medicine, pediatrics, and healthcare quality management. Consisting of the implementation in programs such as Episodes of Care, PCMH, NCQA recognition, Medicare shared savings accountable care organizations and CPC+. With my focus being on Quality improvement, Stars, HEDIS, Case management, provider panel reviewed, chart audits, billing and coding consultation, chart extraction, Transitional Care Management and Chronic Care Management all while providing education, guidance and support to clinical staff, providers and patients. Practice transformation and assistance with physicians, care teams, support staff and administrative personnel to work together for the better cause of the patient and savings is my #1 priority. The growth of your practice and health of your patients is my ultimate goal. I thrive on helping others grow and watching them succeed.
