In 2015 I completed my return to practice, and I am now again able to work as a Registered Nurse. my nursing background has been invaluable in enabling me to understand the needs of healthcare professionals and their patients. I have been successful ensuring that I develop a strong personal business relationship as well as an equally strong company image with customers at all levels in both Primary and secondary care, which has enabled me to maintain product position in a very aggressive, generic focussed market. I have worked with specialists in Cardiology, Renal, Diabetes,Respiratory, Elderly care and Dermatology also have experience in Gastroenterology, A&E,Gen' Med' and allergy. I have developed some strong relationships enabling me to use these customers to advocate the products in the area, and attend National, European and international symposia to develop their knowledge and support further. I have experience of business plan development, and have achieved formulary status in secondary care.Working in the changing NHS and emerging CCGs at all levels, including Medicines management, GPwSIs, CCG leads, GPs and Nurses,gaining a clear understanding of the requirement for clinically and cost effective products in order to answer the needs of the customer in treating patients and reducing the cost of care.I have also been able to use this clinical and commercial approach in the management of Dispensing accounts in the area. With 15 years of experience as a Registered nurse and registered Midwife prior to entering the Pharmaceutical industry I have a unique insight of the challenges faced by customers,enabling me to have empathy with the challenges our customers are facing in the rapidly changing NHS environment.
