About Mary Foster

With a Bachelor’s Degree in History from UT Tyler, I spent nearly five years as Museum Curator at the Goodman Museum, where I launched Mary’s Murder Mysteries, now co-owned as Playing with Murder Events. My community involvement includes roles on committees and boards like the Chamber of Commerce, Tyler Tourism Committee, Hit the Bricks founding committee, and as Events/Outreach Chairman with the Tyler Young Professionals Network. As the current Heritage and Cultural Arts Program Manager for the City of Allen's Heritage Village, I enjoy activating the space through diverse programming, events, tours, and lectures. Responsibilities also include serving on the Allen Cemetery's continuity planning staff committee, collaborating with the Heritage Guild, drafting business and marketing plans, managing operations and maintenance agreements for the Allen Heritage Village, and designing, promoting, and evaluating programs while establishing community relationships through presentations to organizations.
