About Mary Fox

As an IT Director and an RN with the Clinicl Applications Team, I am committed to creating and sustaining clinical documentation solutions for our clinicians through responsive and proactive processes where the electronic health record is a quality tool leveraged to deliver safe care to our patients and their families. My professional background as a registered nurse caring for patients for over 20 years has given me a perspective of how our clinicians serve patients every day and why and what they desire to accomplish: the safe, efficient, and compassionate care of patients and their families. This perspective has served my informatics passion allowing me to lead and implement a new Maternity EHR across 28 acute care hospitals. Along with this nursing and informatics experience, my entrepreneurial spirit has provided the opportunity to be self-employed and be a continual learner of leadership, people resource best practice, and innovation. My vision is to be an encouraging, transparent leader with integrity and to cultivate an environment of rewarding hard work and growth. I will continually strive to be a learner, both professionally and personally, to become the best equipped leader I can be. My team will be the most proficient at what they do and will be given the tools they need to become the best version of themselves through encouragement and challenge.
