2022: ABD (All But Dissertation) I have completed Language/Literacy Coursework as well as completed Director of Curriculum/Instruction Licensure. 2019: New Learning Adventure In addition to working with both students and teachers to improve literacy outcomes, I've entered the Cardinal Stritch Language/Literacy Doctoral Program, along the way I'll earn my Director of Instruction and Reading Specialist licenses, too. August 12, 2015 represents the fruition of another goal; I have completed my action research on Co-Teaching and, thus, earned my Master of Arts in Education. In like manner, 2013 saw the completion of a long-term transition or, I should say, the beginning of my new role as a designer/educator: By day, I work with at-risk students. When the opportunity arises (nights/weekends/as needed), I continue to create corporate image/branding in print and digital medium with a special ability to pull together a ‘look’ creatively and appropriately for my clients that sets them apart from their competition whether they're a small start-up business or international company. Design Expertise: Brand/Corporate Identities, Collateral Pieces, Catalog & Book Design, Packaging, Advertising, Special Event Planning and Coordination, and of course - Textile Design. Education/Teaching: Critical Thinking/Comprehensive Literacy Strategies and Reading Intervention, Curriculum Modification/Design, Community Service and Project-based Learning, Behavioral Strategies, and Co-Teaching Strategies and Co-Teacher Training/Team Building.
