About Mary Jane Marcus

I’ve had very diverse careers and as they say “one thing leads to another.” After a 30 year career at Southern Company where I worked in Engineering Services, Fuel and Bulk Power Marketing, I retired and decided to find my niche. I don’t sit still well, so I went back to work as a temp at Martin Marietta Aggregates which lasted 13 months. I also worked part-time at Macy’s in cosmetics which became full-time and I managed Chanel at Brookwood Village and then Lancôme at the Galleria for 5 years. I learned that teaching 20 year olds how to line dance behind my counter (when Macy’s is open until midnight) was not good for my knees. It was time to take on another “sit-down” job and I was fortunate to go to work for Norman Berk at Professional Asset Strategies – the predecessor of BCR℠ Wealth Strategies. Working at BCR℠ is exciting as all the things I’ve learned along the way can actually be put into practice here. We all work with business coaches and learning is part of our job so that we can help our clients achieve personal and financial goals. I love to help people succeed!
