About Mary Knoblich

My name is Mary Knoblich I work on ARC as a CNA. I’ve been working as a CNA in a lot of different capacities over the years. I’ve worked in Memory Care, I’ve worked in Assisted Living Homes, and I’ve worked privately as an in-home care aid. Each one of those opportunities has been incredibly rewarding for different reasons and I loved every position. Two years ago I left my private care work in Edmonds for a more local position. I originally found Peace Health June of 2022. At the time I had concerns regarding finding an internship and work at the forefront of my mind but never anticipated a hospital being the answer for me. However, as I drove past UGMC I felt a strong pull, like a clear tinkling bell, to go into the lobby and inquire about both an internship and a job within. Now, as I am a year into my Peace Health experience, I am utterly delighted that I got so utterly lost that day. I’ve been working on earning my Bachelor’s degree in Public Health – Education and Promotion from Brigham Young University Idaho for the last several years. I am currently in my last semester and I am due to graduate come July. In my time working on my degree I’ve discovered that I have a knack for creating posters and flyers, making presentations and instagram posts, along with other mixed media projects. Two semesters ago I did a whole project on The True Cost of Education, whether working in school was helpful or detrimental to a student’s GPA. I enjoyed this research, creating surveys, analyzing data and synthesizing that data into a research poster and paper. I was also a team member involved in designing a pretend program intending to eradicate TB via educating individuals and families in Lesotho, South Africa. I received a 4.0 that semester. When I’m not working or educating myself I particularly enjoy walking my dog Chester the English Cream Golden Retriever. When I’m not walking my dog I enjoy watercolor painting and crafting; I tend to lean towards the artsy side and love getting lost in a project. I’ve learned that I love cooking in the last two years of being married and splashing out to trying new recipes has been a delightful challenge that I’ve really stepped up to the plate on that with some success.
