Mary Modau is a Rural girl from Limpopo Province! I have passed Matric and I am a qualified Professional Secretary. I am computer literate and I am able to work on Syspro, Ms Word, Ms Excel, Internet, Access, Powerpoint and Outlook. I am a fast learner and always willing to learn any other programmes. I have great ability of working with people, trustworthy, energetic, pay attention to details and have good verbal and written communication skills. After matriculating in 1993, I have worked as School Teacher for 3 years and that's where I have learned to work with different kinds of people of different cultures in the same group at the same time. That taught me to be more patient and work calmly under pressure at all times. I got married and came to stay fulltime in Gauteng. As I didn't have any tertiary qualifications then, I worked as a domestic worker from 1998 to 2002. I then enrolled and studied part time with Intec College, I completed my Professional Secretary Diploma in 2004. In 2003, when I was still studying part time, I was employed by Compact Business Services in Bryanston as a Personal Assistant till September 2007. When the company moved overseas, I was then employed by Hunter Douglas(PTY) Ltd, in November 2007, as a Logistics Clerk, and also running the Wholesale Division, handling orders and queries for 11 local and 2 International wholesale customers. I worked for Hunter Douglas (PTY)Ltd 5 years as well. After being retrenched in September 2013 and being unemployed for 10 months, I was then employed by Beka Schreder (PTY)Ltd in August 2014 as a Despatch Administrator.
