About Mary Pride Clark

I started Compassionate Veterinary Care, Inc to provide high quality on-ranch health care to farm animals in the Sierra foothills. I treat goats, cattle, sheep, llamas, alpacas, and pigs. In addition, I feel very strongly about the benefits of in-home euthanasia and have incorporated this into my practice. It allows a peaceful, pain-free passing to our pets in a soothing, low-stress environment. I have completed my acupuncture certification to provide drug-free medical care for my patients. Acupuncture has been scientifically proven to provide pain relief, increased fertility, and reduce the amount of medications needed for conditions like skin disease and seizures. I have found it to be extremely effective in areas where Western medicine is not very effective or has negative side effects. I am very invested in educating my clients and the community about how to maintain better health and prevent disease in their animals. I frequently give talks to 4H clubs and other groups on aspects of basic and emergency veterinary care.
