About Mary Singer

MARY SINGER, CCIM, CPM, is the founder and CEO of CRG SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS LLC, and a specialist in the areas of corporate sustainability planning, management, and reporting. Primarily focused on women- and minority-owned companies, she extends her consulting practice to the key strategic areas of efficiency, supply chain, and diversity in small-to-medium sized businesses, nonprofits, and government entities. Borrowing from the established models used by larger corporations, Mary’s strength is in breaking down the broad, complex conversations around sustainability into transferable opportunity, and mobilizing companies around employee engagement and community involvement. Drawing on her background in commercial real estate, primarily in energy-efficient transactions that build strong environmental footprints, Mary encourages corporations to be more transparent in their approach to sustainability. In 2009, she noticed how large companies with huge distribution centers made their real estate decisions, monetized their operations, and managed carbon, energy, water, and waste. Her research enabled a mission of environmental stewardship and led her to embrace the 3BL (triple bottom line) approach to maximizing profits. Mary becomes an indispensable asset to companies that wish to become a more marketable operation with respect to sustainability. A natural community builder, Mary shares in the social and educational platforms that keep people connected and focused on best-fit solutions around human and natural resources. She draws inspiration from affecting positive change in the communities where facilities are located, and the economic possibilities that companies can generate at the grassroots level. Through her involvement with various organizations, most notably the WBENC (Women’s Business Enterprise National Council), and its regional affiliate, WBEC South, Mary is at the forefront of advancing the business and leadership goals of professional women.
