About Mary Sweeney

I graduated from the University of New Mexico cum laude in December 2014 with my BS in Geography and Geovisualization Design. Currently, I am working in the field of RF Design, creating infrastructure for Comcast, via Sefnco. My experience in Geography has helped tremendously in utlitlizing Comcast's newest SNET (SpatialNet) program which operates through python programming and sits on the base Autocad Map program. I create RF designs (via Lode Data and SNET) for MDUs (multi-dwelling units) and SDUs (single dwelling units) for both residential and commercial applications, plant extensions, forced relocates and Metro-Es. I currently am working on a variety of node splits (splitting node based distributions) in the WA market. My background experience is in civil engineering design, i.e. roadway design, traffic impact studies, roundabout design, parking lot design, traffic signal design, and access control plans. My degree in Geography taught me how to study the movement of people, to consider the push and pull factors, and understand why people travel the roads they do which can help us to better design our infrastructure to maximize its benefit.
