About Mary Windishar

When did the definition of “good” change? It used to mean “perfect.” Now, good seems to mean “agile.” But luckily, my skills as a live television producer (a.k.a. problem solver) prepared me to embrace anything unplanned as an opportunity. That’s why I love facilitating live webcasts. Sure, I still strive for perfection in the preparation stage - but once the show begins (or actually, any audio or video session) changes are expected, mistakes embraced, and opportunities identified - all to create something better than we started with. Being nimble serves me well in training, voice, on-camera performance and show hosting too. My career began at King and Westinghouse Broadcasting. I produced television shows like People Are Talking at both WJZ (with Oprah Winfrey) and KPIX-TV, PM/Evening Magazine, and Just Kidding! at KGW-TV. Then I switched to other side of the camera as a talent in industrial films, commercials and TV shows, and to teach at The Voice Factory and SF Acting Academy here in San Francisco. I also continue to consult on broadcast shows. Clients of On24.com and 3GS, plus Stanford Medical Centers and Patient Power use me in their live webinars. Whether they’re whitepapers, or designed to deliver training for companies such as eBay, IBM, Phillips Heathcare and many more, webcasts combine my performance, producing, and problem solving abilities to help your clients succeed. I also enjoyed hosting PBS shows on China (for 10+ years,) and a radio show on parenting. Need a voice with experience? Got it.
