About Mary Young

My name is Mary Young, and I am a former Medical Student. My pursuit of a doctorate degree in the medical field didn't pan out, and in the meantime I am actively looking for a career that can put my medical experience to work. I have taken classes covering anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, case history, biochemistry, some neuroanatomy, and a variety of other medical based classes. Due to my course study working with cadavers I am open to working with the deceased. I have several years experience working as a medical scribe following a physician, both in an emergency room and a family practice, with a handful of days spent at a cardiology clinic. As such, there is little medically that I have not seen, or been phased by. I have a degree in psychology, and as such have a high understanding of people and have excellent interpersonal skills. I am great with people! I consider myself a lifetime student and genuinely enjoy researching new things. In other words, many a weekend has been spent researching a random idea that popped into my head. Needless to say I usually do well in trivia, so long as no sports are involved!
